Meet Luis Vaz
Skip the Station was founded by Luis Vaz, an active-duty Navy service member with a deep commitment to service, efficiency, and innovation. Throughout his career, Luis experienced firsthand the everyday challenges that people face, especially the time-consuming inconvenience of routine errands like stopping for fuel. Driven by a desire to simplify daily life and help others reclaim their time, he envisioned a smarter, safer way to refuel – one that eliminates the need for unnecessary trips to the gas station. With that vision, Skip the Station was born: a mobile fueling service built on trust, convenience, and customer-first values. Today, Luis continues to lead the company with the same discipline and integrity that define his military service, bringing practical solutions to busy individuals and families across Fort Lauderdale.
